Supracor unveils stylish and stimulating St. Tropez™ spa sandals
"Flip flops are still popular and even though there are so many different kinds, ours are truly unique," said Susan Wilson, Supracor's director of Research, Design and Development. "Stimulite honeycomb is made from an advanced material—the same material used in wound dressings—so it's entirely safe for the skin, and the massaging action of the honeycomb makes the sandals incredibly comfortable."
In addition to massaging the feet, the honeycomb absorbs shock. St. Tropez sandals are constructed of two layers of honeycomb with a slip-resistant bottom and an upper layer of perforated honeycomb that allows both air and water to flow through, making them ideal for the spa. As an added bonus, Stimulite honeycomb is naturally antifungal and antibacterial.
St. Tropez sandals join Supracor's 'Le Weekend™' sandals, which have a wide honeycomb strap in place of the thong strap, and 'StimuLITES®' massaging insoles in the company's comfort footwear line.
Stimulite honeycomb is also featured in Supracor's innovative personal care products—SpaCells® facial sponge, bath mitt and body scrubber—which cleanse, exfoliate and massage for softer, smoother, younger-looking skin.
Supracor is the originator of fusion-bonded honeycomb technology, a flexible form of aerospace honeycomb utilized in products that promote the health and safety of people and animals. Initially applied to wheelchair cushions and hospital mattrresses for pressure sore prevention, Supracor's Stimulite honeycomb is the basis of a revolutionary line of personal care products that are clean, safe and uniquely comfortable. Supracor's products are exclusively made in California's Silicon Valley from recyclable materials.
