Kristina is a spokesperson, model, motivational speaker as well as a marketing communications and broadcast media professional. As a spokesperson and model for several companies, such as Colours Wheelchair and LegaWear, Kristina has significantly increased the awareness of women with disabilities. She is also an ambassador for the Abilities Expo.
In 2008, Kristina received her B.A. in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Brenau University, and in 2010 she received her M.S. in Organizational Leadership from the same university. Coming from a family with a professional background in broadcasting, Kristina ran Brenau’s radio station for several years. She always closed every show with her motto: “Happiness is yours to choose or reject, so embrace it. Sing out loud, hug somebody, smile for me and don’t forget to dance to the music.”
As Ms. Wheelchair California 2005, Kristina was honored to travel her home state as an advocate for women and people with disabilities. A dedicated and actively involved parent and wife, Kristina enjoys wake boarding, swimming, basketball, sled hockey, dancing and working out in her spare time.
Because Kristina is always on the go, she relies on her Stimulite® cushion to keep her cool and comfortable.
"The first time I sat on a Supracor cushion, I immediately noticed an improvement in my posture. At the end of the day I couldn't believe that I didn’t have the back pain that I typically have after a long day in my chair. To top it off, the cushion is hassle free! It’s so easy to clean, it's durable and can't pop, and there are no adjustments needed. I love it!"
