Brad Doty

Former professional race car driver Brad Doty is a renowned champion sprint car racer. He rose to fame in the World of Outlaws national sprint car series, finishing in 2nd place in 1988 and becoming one of the most popular drivers in America. In 2001, he was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.

Now an award-winning television racing analyst, Brad has worked for Networks such as CBS, ESPN, Speed, TNN, The Outdoor Channel, Australia’s C7 and Versus. Among his media awards are “Outstanding Contribution to the Sport” in 1997 and “Media Member of the Year” in 1997 and 1998. Brad is also co-promoter of the annual Brad Doty Classic sprint car race that draws the top drivers from around the world.

Not only is he a renowned sprint car racer and media analyst, Brad also co-wrote a book, “Still Wide Open”, recounting his rise to fame in the sprint car world to his trials and tribulations resulting from his devastating life altering race and how he overcame adversity in this inspirational story of his life.
